Meet the Resilient Chiro

Doctor Natalia is a Puerto Rican native, born and raised in the town of Caguas.

Her healing journey began in 2011 when she decided to move to Seville Spain in order to study and explore new options. During this time, she began developing autoimmune symptoms and was transferred back home to receive emergency medical care. It was during this time that she was diagnosed with "Systemic Lupus Erythematosus." Ever since this day, Doctor Natalia has dedicated her life to fighting every battle that came to her. She has promised to help others in this same position overcome their health challenges and find resiliency within.

In 2015, after finishing her B.S. in Biology with a certification in Biotechnology, she moved to Marietta, GA. She had decided to pursue her Doctorate degree in Chiropractic at Life University. By now, Doctor Natalia had discovered a deep passion for her hands. It was during a community service night, sterilizing and wrapping ulceration wounds on the homeless, that she had the epiphany. "You have the healing hands of an angel," the man had said to her. It was from this point on that she would discover how healing her hands could truly be.

During her studies at Life University, Doctor Natalia discovered the amazing power of the human body to heal from the inside-out. However, here she was challenged with another health scare. After an emergency laparoscopy stage 3 "endometrial tissues" were discovered. The physical and emotional pain from this second diagnosis triggered a second "Lupus flare" in which Doctor Natalia was sent to the Intense Care at a hospital in San Juan, PR. During this flare, Doctor Natalia had her family's unconditional love and presence, and she fought through it. After 2 weeks of healing she went back to Life University and took 17 final exams in 3 days. She passed all her classes.

The flare in 2015 was different, as Doctor Natalia continued to grow and learn. She started looking into lifestyle changes that could help her live a flare-free life. She started with very basic steps such as avoiding dairy and gluten, and she knew she could dive even deeper with this journey.

After a few years with a flare-free life, Doctor Natalia graduated from Life University, got married and opened her own practice with her husband, all in less than 6 months. Although all of these decisions were the right ones, her body went through a lot of stress and challenges. In what would be her third and most scary flare, her heart became severely compromised. Her blood pressure was under 90/44 mm Hg most of the time, her hands and all joints were all swollen, she suffered from alopecia, and her heart started accumulating fluid around the pericardial sack. By now Doctor Natalia had read about the AIP protocol and decided it was the perfect gift for her body. So, after 2 heart surgeries, 8 days in the hospital and multiple days of healing, she began her AIP protocol.

2 months after this lifestyle shift, she was able to start serving once more in her practice. She knew deep down she had to share this amazing tool with other people which is why she became an AIP Paleo Coach. Not only did this protocol help Doctor Natalia get back on her feet, it was the only answer after 15 years to resolve her Endometriosis. Doctor Natalia lives pain free, and is completely grateful she followed this journey.

During her free time, Doctor Natalia loves walking in small towns like downtown Brevard where she lives, searching for the perfect Matcha latte and meeting new people. Also, Doctor Natalia loves spending time at home with her husband and dog daughter Chloe were she spoils them with delicious cooking and new AIP recipes. Doctor Natalia loves to travel and has family all over the world form Puerto Rico, to New York, to Florida and even Japan. Her family and her quality time with them is most sacred to her.
